How to Remove Limescale From Your Aarke KettleUpdated 4 hours ago

Over time, minerals in tap water can leave limescale deposits inside your kettle. This is completely normal and can be easily cleaned using a mild acid solution, such as diluted white vinegar (12–24%).

Follow these steps to descale your kettle safely and effectively:

  1. Fill the kettle with water (only water) up to the MAX line.
For a quicker process, heat the water to about 40°C / 104°F.

  2. Remove the kettle from the base to ensure it cannot heat up.

  3. Add 1 deciliter (100 ml) of white vinegar to the water.

  4. Let the mixture sit for at least 1 hour, or longer for tougher buildup.

  5. Pour out the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water.

  6. Boil clean water several times, discarding the water after each boil, to remove any remaining vinegar residue.
